Evet, bu saçları ben de beğeniyorum. Şubat ortasında böyleydi işte. Açmasın rengini filan böyle gayet iyi.
Çok fazla kaynakta rastlamama rağmen sanırım Jon bugün Food Bank for New York City galasında sahne alacak. Üstelik adı geçen tek ünlü Jon da değil, REM solisti Michael Stipe ve e2'de de programı yayınlanan Rachael Ray'in de adı geçiyor haberde. Gecenin geliri 1 $ dolar olarak hedeflenmiş ve organizasyonun açlıkla savaşma adına gerçekleştirileceği belirtilmiş.

"I’d like to thank Governor Corzine for that wonderful introduction and thank the board of the hall of fame for this induction. I’d also like to express my gratitude to it. Brian brennen for his bravery and for exemplifying everything that is good about New Jersey. New jersey is the place where i was born, the place where my father , my wife and our children were born. It’s where i first walked, talked, and learned to play a guitar, and someday, it will be the place they’ll lay my bones to rest.
Looking back i think jersey should have been called shadowland. Because when your from Jersey you either have to step out of.. Or cast a big shadow. With New York on one side and Philadelphia on the other we have had to scrap for just about anything. But, when history looks back on the contributions made by the likes of Thomas Edison, or Frank Sinatra, from General Schwarzkoff to Albert Einstein, from Abbott and Costello to Jerry Lewis, Nickolson to Devito from Yogi Berra to Bruce and Southside. Come on, I’ll stack Jersey up to any place there is.
Sure we have had to take some criticism and at times been the punchline of some jokes. In fact i have friends who think they have to bring their passport and change money to take a trip through the tunnel. That’s fine by me, that’s one less bennie down the shore to deal with.
the truth is, Jersey is a place that oher people want to be from. I was reminded of that this morning. I just now flew in from New Orleans . I was browsing along magazine street and had walked into a shop where there was this elderly lady behind the counter with the most perfect blond bee hive hairdoo , she looked up and after realizing who i was called out, “Hey Jersey” so I answered what exit?,..she was from here too.
I can’t imagine anyone calling out hey Connecticut, whoa Vermont, rock on New Hampshire.. It’s just not the same. No matter where you go, no matter who you are, or what you do if your one of us you carry that with you like a badge of hono Like i said i was born here, I named our fourth album New Jersey and in 2005 even co-wrote the song that was eventually used in Jerseys tourism campaign.
Who said you can’t go home. In that song there is a lyric, Theres only one place they call me one of their own. And tonight i just wanted to drop by to thank you for that."

Aynen katılıyorum, yüz verince astarını istemek bu oluyor yani! Katılmak zorunda değil bu bir, Bush'un Irak politikasını desteklemediği için bu organizasyona dahil olmamayı tercih etmiş olabilir, veya neden herneyse, mecbur mu yahu? Onca emek ver, bir sürü iş yap, sonra böyle dandik bir nedenden boykot olsun! Saçmalık resmen. Gerçi adyo/medya ne derse desin yurtdışı fanbase gayet rahat, "Jon'un istediğini yapmaya, istediği yerde sahneye çıkmaya hakkı var, kime ne?" modunda... Ama yine de nahoş bir durum tabii... Jon, 4 Temmuz'da New York'un Doğu Hampton bölgesindeki Blue Parrot isimli restoranında misafirlere birkaç şarkı çalmış. WSYCGH'la başlamış, sonra biraz Free Bird çalıp, "yumuşak ve tatlı" bir Wanted versiyonuyla bitirmiş.
Londra'ya albümü mikslemek için gittikleri söyleniyordu. Acaba sadece 4 Haziran kutlamaları için mi döndü? Çünkü miksleme olayı o kadar kısa sürede bitmez benim bildiğim.

Welcome back, my friends, to the show that never ends… I found myself singing that old Emerson, Lake, and Palmer song just yesterday when I left the mastering lab, the new album safely tucked in my bag, hat and sunglasses placed perfectly on my head, and with my trusty sidekick Obie at my side. We headed into the great unknown in a New York City taxi cab. “The Circle” is complete. The final touches were made, the sequencing is set, and in November of 2009, we will have released another studio album. If you would have told me last July that we would have the next studio album and Greatest Hits finished in time for the Fall of 2009, I would have asked you to take me to a doctor because I'd be in serious need of help or having a heart attack... But the world provided lots of subject matter for Richie and I to write about and like every album you complete, you think this is your best yet. It was a nice surprise. The first single, We Weren’t Born to Follow, is off to a great start and we’ll hit the road in February.
This fan club is yours. We plan to bring you places you’ve never been and provide you access to The Circle that only Backstage JBJ members get. So, with the album cover shot, the video done, and the album mastered and gone to press...

Aslında konu başlığına tam uymuyor bu paylaşaklarım, sadece JBJ değil grupla ilgili sayılır haber. Haberden de ziyade; backstage üyelerine ulaşan bir adet Matt Bongiovi mesajı bu. Ehh, biz Türkiye'deki fanları birebir de ilgilendirmiyor ama yine de not düşeyim dedim:

So much to do, so little time. Seems to be the subject of each day around here. There really are so many things that are being worked on as I write. DUST OFF YOUR SUITCASE. We are taking to the air. We are going to announce the details in the coming weeks but here are a couple of things to think about. How is London in the fall? Say the first week of November? How about Hawaii in the winter? Warm and maybe even HOT around Valentine's weekend. What about New York in the spring? Within those lines there are two great getaway packages and a one-day event. Each trip with be historic, unique, and filled with Bon Jovi. Are you in??? We hope so. This year will be the first time in several years that we offer multiple day trips and we are going to follow the boys around the world. Stand by for more details as they come in.

Yok otel filan değil, JBJ Soul Foundation (yani Jon'un kurduğu vakıf) ihtiyacı olanlar için evler yapıyor ya, işte Newark'da Genesis Projesi kapsamında da bu bina (rakamda yanılmıyorsam) 50 kişi için yuva oldu.
Girişteki duvarda da "Who Says You Can't Go Home" yazıyor hatta :)

Patron bu yıl da geleneği bozmadı ve son birkaç senedir olduğu gibi yeni yılı ailesiyle birlikte St. Barths'da karşıladı arkadaşlar...
